Privacy Policy

Parish Presence provides a church website service where we do it all for you, including planning, design, development and support. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through this website and through communications about our services.

For privacy questions, contact us at info@parishpresence.co.uk. We may update this policy when our services or the law changes, and the latest version will be published here.

If you contact us, we may receive your name, email address, church or organization details, project requirements, and any other information you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your enquiry, prepare proposals, and provide requested services.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information by email unless it is necessary for your enquiry.

When you visit the website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring website, approximate location, and information about how the site is used.

We use Vercel hosting and Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and helps us understand aggregate visitor activity. We may also use Vercel Speed Insights to understand site performance, Google Analytics to measure page visits and engagement, and Microsoft Clarity to generate anonymised heatmaps and session recordings showing how visitors interact with pages. Google tags use Consent Mode with storage denied by default; limited cookieless signals may be processed before consent, while consent-dependent measurement and advertising features are enabled only when permitted. These tools are used to improve the website and are not intended to identify you personally. The exact information processed depends on which of these tools are enabled and the consent you have given.

We may use information to operate, secure, and improve the website; respond to messages; deliver and support projects; understand website performance; prevent misuse; and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for unrelated advertising. We only send marketing communications when you have asked for them or where permitted by law, and you can ask us to stop at any time.

We may share information with trusted providers that help us operate the website and deliver our services, including Vercel for hosting and any analytics or performance products we enable. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own privacy terms.

Some providers may process information in countries outside your own. Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect information during those transfers.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, to provide services, resolve disputes, maintain business records, or meet legal requirements.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please take care when sharing information online.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or request a copy of your information.

To make a privacy request, email info@parishpresence.co.uk and describe what you need. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, contact Parish Presence at info@parishpresence.co.uk or 020 3143 2214.
